Checco Pallone

Master orchestrator and musical director Checco Pallone: He began his musical and concert

activity at the young age of 13 as a percussionist, tambourine player in the “Calabrese Company

of Popular Song”, already engaged in the research of ethnic music for years. Since then he has

undertaken a particular and personal musical journey, deepening the study of percussion and

more specifically of frame drums, developing a completely personal and innovative language. At

the same time he approaches the study of classical guitar, with particular attention to the

manuche technique and to plucked instruments. Thanks to these peculiarities he obtains several

collaborations with nationally and internationally renowned musicians in different parts of the

world, making himself appreciated in different musical genres, from rock to jazz through ethnic

music. From the 90s onwards he has made numerous record and concert collaborations all over

the world: Argentina, Germany, France, Canada, Singapore, Malta, Australia, Switzerland, Saudi

Arabia, Romania, Albania, Cyprus and Morocco. He privately teaches the technique of frame

drums, as a teacher he participates in numerous stages throughout Italy and is a contract

professor at the Conservatory of Cosenza
